Description
The Solenne is a 200mm circular wall light cut from a solid disc of light beige travertine, with a central opal glass globe set into the stone face. The fitting takes a single G9 lamp behind the diffuser, casting warm light through the glass and across the surrounding travertine. The natural pores, mineral speckling and tonal variation of the stone are visible across the disc, so each piece carries a slightly different surface pattern.
Designed as a flush-mounted wall fitting, the Solenne suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairwells where a low-profile wall light is needed without a projecting arm or shade. The 200mm diameter keeps the fitting compact enough to flank a bed as a pair, line a hallway in a run of three or four, or sit alone above a console table. The shallow depth means it does not protrude into circulation space, making it suitable for narrower hallways and landings.
Travertine is a sedimentary stone characterised by visible voids and a warm, sandy palette that ranges from pale cream through to deeper honey tones within a single piece. The light beige finish on the Solenne sits at the cooler end of that range and pairs comfortably with off-white walls, oak joinery and warm neutral schemes. The opal glass globe at the centre softens the G9 filament and prevents direct glare from typical seated and standing eye lines.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Solenne take?
The fitting takes a single G9 capsule lamp, sold separately. A 3W-4W G9 LED in 2700K-3000K warm white is generally a good match for the opal glass diffuser and the warm tones of the travertine.
Does the travertine vary between pieces?
Yes. Travertine is a natural stone with visible pores, mineral inclusions and tonal variation. Each disc shows a slightly different surface pattern and shade within the light beige palette, so paired or grouped fittings will not look identical.
Can it be installed in a bathroom?
The Solenne does not carry an IP rating in the supplied specification, so it should be treated as a dry-location wall light suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairwells rather than bathroom zones.
How is the travertine cleaned?
Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Travertine is porous, so avoid soaking the stone or using household sprays, polishes and acidic cleaners, which can mark the surface or sit in the natural voids.
