Soho Silver Slim Framed Full Length Mirror 176cm

Soho Silver is a full length mirror 81cm by 176cm in the same narrow flat frame as the gold, finished in a pale silver. The section is squared off, roughly as deep as it is wide, so the frame reads as a fine bright edge round the glass rather than as a moulding with a profile.

Silver is the quieter of the two finishes and it sits more easily in a cool room, with grey or white walls and chrome or nickel fittings elsewhere. At 176cm it gives a full length reflection without the bulk a wide surround would bring to the same wall. It hangs portrait or landscape. It is rated for a bathroom, which the pale finish suits. The mirror weighs 18kg and is 4cm deep, and two hooks and plugs are supplied rather than screws.

The frame is moulded composite with a silver finish, on mirrored glass, and nothing needs assembling. Clean the glass with cleaner on a cloth rather than sprayed at the mirror, and keep moisture off the frame itself, since the finish is applied rather than solid. Because the frame is so shallow in width there is almost no shadow line between it and the glass, so from a few paces the mirror reads as a single pale rectangle. Close up the silver has a slight warmth to it rather than being a flat chrome, which stops it looking industrial. The gold version is the same mirror in the same size, so a pair can be hung facing one another if a room wants both.
