This is a smart colour-changing LED globe bulb in clear glass, made to screw straight into any E27 lampholder. Through the clear globe you can see a spiral LED filament wound around a slim central support, so the bulb has real character even before it is lit. It draws 7.5W and gives 806lm, a generous amount of light for a main pendant or a reading lamp, and it carries Energy Class F. The cap is a silver-coloured metal screw thread.

Because the glass is clear and the filament is part of the look, this bulb earns its place where it is on show: an open pendant, a bare lampholder hanging from a cord, a cage shade or a table lamp without a heavy cover. It suits a living room, a pendant over the kitchen table, a bedroom or a hallway.
