This small hedgehog money box is made from resin and shows a cheerful hedgehog peeping over the top of a tree stump, front paws resting on the cut wood. The stump has a natural finish, with deep bark texture running down its sides and growth rings spreading across the top, where the coin slot sits within easy reach. Behind the face, the hedgehog's rounded coat is picked out in rows of brown spines, each one moulded and shaded so the piece looks just as good from the back as it does from the front. It measures 8.5cm high, 14cm wide and 14cm deep, a compact size that settles on a shelf without taking it over.
