Description

The Sirvena is a wall light with a rustic, workshop feel. A light wooden backplate carries a short wooden arm at the top, and a length of twisted rope loops through two holes in that arm before dropping to a black lampholder, while its other end runs back to a small black peg on the board. In black and brown, it is 30cm tall and 8cm across, and it stands 13.5cm out from the wall. The lampholder takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum of 28W, and the bulb is not included, so the glow is yours to choose. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

Because it plugs in and turns on and off with a cord switch, it suits a rented home or a wall without a wired light point. We like it in a hallway above a console table, beside a bed as a reading light, or on a landing where a little light is welcome late at night. Its slim 8cm backplate sits neatly on a narrow stretch of wall, and it stands out only 13.5cm, which helps in a tight passage.
