Description

The Silverton is a semi flush ceiling light with two glass globes, one at each end of a long horizontal bar that meets a round ceiling plate on a short central stem. It is made of brass and glass, and it measures 15cm tall, 77cm long and 12cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling while spreading its light across a wide stretch of the room. It takes two G9 bulbs, up to 6.5W per bulb (LED), and the bulbs are sold separately. You choose the finish, in Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black or Satin Brass, and the glass for the twin globes, in Opal, Clear or Frosted, so the metal and the glass can be paired to suit your room.

Rated IP44, the Silverton suits a bathroom as well as the dry rooms of the house. At just 15cm tall it is a sound choice where the ceiling is low and a pendant would hang too far into the room. Its 77cm length spreads its two points of light along a long space, which makes it a good fit along a hallway, across a landing or over a bed. It is a ceiling light for indoor use, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician.

Every Silverton is made to order for you in Ireland, from brass and glass, in the finish and the glass you choose, so the fitting you receive is made for your room rather than taken from a shelf. The Matt Black finish is painted to RAL 9005, useful to know if you want to match it to other black metalwork in the room. As a practical note, have two G9 LED bulbs of up to 6.5W each ready before your electrician arrives, so the twin globes can be lit the day the light goes up.
