Description

The Siam 120 is a large ceiling light with a wide, shallow cone of pleated Cream Translucent Ribbon that opens out from a round white diffuser at its centre. When it is lit, the ribbon glows a soft, warm cream and the light spreads gently across the ceiling as well as down into the room. It measures 14cm and 120cm in diameter and stands 61cm tall overall, with a 31.5cm stem, so it gives a generous ceiling one broad source of light.

A shade this size suits rooms with space to fill: a bedroom, a living room, an open-plan dining area or a hotel room, where one fitting can serve as the main light. The cream ribbon sits comfortably against white, grey or darker walls and works well over a bed, a seating area or a dining table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is made for indoor use. We offer it with a choice of structure, the Big Structure or the Small Structure, so you can choose the one you prefer for your space.

The structure is made of iron and stainless steel in white, and the ribbon is pleated in fine lines that run out from the diffuser to the rim. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in, so it is for a qualified electrician to install, and it is a Class I fitting. It takes six E27 bulbs of up to 15W each, which are not included and are sold separately; they are what give the Siam 120 its light, so order them with the fitting. Once the bulbs are in, there is nothing else to buy before it lights the room.
