Description

This tall earthenware vase brings depth and character to a shelf, sideboard or floor corner. The cylindrical body rises to a subtly flared neck and a rolled lip, giving it a grounded, sculptural presence. Standing 360mm high, it holds its own as a decorative piece even before you add stems.

The surface is finished with a sgraffito technique, where fine vertical lines are scratched through the dark glaze to reveal a paler tone beneath. The result is a closely worked texture in black with hints of warm cream running through it, catching the light across the rounded form. Each vase carries small variations in the pattern, a mark of the handmade process rather than a fault.
