Description

These hand-painted resin Christmas tree decorations bring four Toy Story characters to your branches, each one hanging from its own silver ribbon loop. There is Buzz Lightyear in his white, green and purple space suit, the three-eyed green Alien in blue, Woody in his brown cowboy hat, yellow shirt and blue jeans, and Rex the green dinosaur striding along with his tail held high. The colours are bright and cheerful, and the set measures 9cm high, 20.7cm across and 7cm deep.

They are made for the Christmas tree, where each ribbon loop slips easily over a branch and lets the character turn gently among the baubles. Hang all four together as a little group near the front of the tree, or spread them out so a familiar face peeps from every side. They work just as well on an indoor garland along the mantelpiece, a hook on a dresser or a wreath hung inside the front door. As a Christmas gift they make a cheerful present to hand over early in December, so the tree can be dressed with them straight away and enjoyed for the whole season.

Each figure is made from resin and painted by hand, which gives every character its fine detail, from the buttons on Buzz Lightyear's suit to the spots on Woody's waistcoat. Resin figures can chip if they are dropped, so hang them on a sturdy branch and handle them with a little care. They are decorations rather than toys, so we suggest hanging them where small hands cannot reach. Dust them now and then with a soft dry cloth, and when the tree comes down, wrap each one in tissue paper before packing them away so the paintwork stays bright. For a simple finishing touch, group them with plain silver baubles that pick up the colour of the ribbons.
