Description
This set of four Highland cow Christmas decorations spells out a seasonal greeting. Each little cow holds a gold-coloured letter or heart against its brown coat, and hung in order they read H, heart, M, E, so the four together say home with a heart standing in for the O. They are made of resin, also called polystone, with a textured, tousled fringe falling over their eyes. Every cow is dressed for winter: one in a red and white Santa hat, one in a red knitted bobble hat with a green band, one in a black top hat with a sprig of holly, and one in a red headband with cream earmuffs. Each cow measures 4cm wide and 4cm deep.
They are made for the Christmas tree, where a loop of tan cord lets each cow hang from a branch with its long cord legs and little hooves dangling below. Hang them side by side across the front of the tree so the word reads clearly, or spread them along a garland on the mantelpiece, a wreath on an inside door or a bundle of twigs on a side table. Because they spell home, they sit happily in a kitchen, a snug or a hallway, wherever you want the season to feel welcoming. As a set they make a cheerful Christmas gift.
The resin bodies give the cows painted detail, with a golden finish on the letters and bright colour on the hats, while the cord loops and legs add a soft, rustic touch. To care for them, dust with a soft dry cloth and keep them away from water. When the season is over, wrap each cow in tissue and store the set together so the word stays complete for next year. Hang them at eye height on a well-lit branch, close enough together that the gold letters catch the fairy lights and read as one word.

Frequently Asked
What do the Highland cow decorations spell?
Hung in order, the four cows hold the letters H, M and E with a gold heart in place of the O, so together they spell home.
How many decorations are in the set?
There are four Highland cows in the set. Each has its own festive hat and its own letter or heart, and we sell them together as one set.
What are the decorations made of?
Each cow is made of resin, also known as polystone, with painted detail on the coat, hats and gold-coloured letters, plus cord legs and a cord hanging loop.
How big is each Highland cow?
Each Highland cow measures 4cm wide and 4cm deep. That is a neat size that sits comfortably on a Christmas tree branch or along a garland.
How do the decorations hang?
Each cow has a loop of cord at the top of its hat. The loop slips over a branch, a hook or a garland, and the cord legs dangle beneath.
How should I look after them?
Dust them with a soft dry cloth and keep them away from water. Wrap each cow in tissue when you pack the set away after Christmas.
