The Serbanne is a wooden pendant light with a teardrop-shaped shade made from slender slats of wood, gathered at the top beneath a turned wooden finial and bound with a neatly wrapped collar. The shade and the steel body are both finished in brown, a warm, earthy tone, and a matching ceiling rose completes the look. It measures 35cm across and 110cm tall overall. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60W, which is not included, so you choose the colour and warmth of the light yourself. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms.

This brown pendant light suits a living room, a dining room, a kitchen or a bedroom, anywhere you want a warm, natural material overhead. The gaps between the slats leave the bulb visible, so a clear filament bulb becomes part of the design, while the softly curving shape gives a relaxed, organic feel. It sits happily with plants, linen, cane chairs and pale painted walls, and the earthy colour warms a cool, white room without looking heavy.
