Description

The Senna is a ceramic ceiling light with a marbled glaze. Its slim cylindrical shade is swirled in grey and cream and fixed close beneath a round canopy, so the light falls downward through its open base. It is 23cm tall and 12cm across, a neat size for a modest room or a low ceiling. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 10W, and bulbs are sold separately, so you can choose the bulb you prefer within that limit. The metalwork comes in your choice of Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Polished Copper or Satin Brass, with the Matt Black finish painted in RAL 9005.

Rated IP20, it is for dry rooms only, which leaves plenty of good places for it. Its compact height suits a hallway, landing or small bedroom where a pendant would hang too low, and several in a line give a long corridor an even run of light. In a living room or dining room it adds a pool of light and a little texture overhead. The finish you choose sets the mood: warm Antique Brass or Satin Brass for a traditional room, Polished Brass or Polished Copper for a brighter accent, Antique Silver for a cooler scheme, and Matt Black for a crisp, modern look against pale walls.

The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, though bulbs are not covered.
