The Senna is a ceramic ceiling light that sits close to the ceiling: a cylindrical shade on a short stem beneath a round ceiling plate. The shade is finished in the Black Clay glaze, a dark clay surface broken by a pale crackle pattern that gives it real depth and texture. It is made of brass and ceramic, and measures 23cm tall, 12cm wide and 12cm deep. It takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W per bulb, and bulbs are sold separately, so you can choose the bulb that suits your room. The shade is open at the base, so the light shines downward.

You choose the finish of the metal fitting from six: Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Polished Copper or Satin Brass, each paired with the same Black Clay shade. The Matt Black finish is painted RAL 9005. At 23cm tall it suits a hallway, landing, bedroom, study or living room, and it is a good answer where a ceiling is too low for a pendant. Have your E27 bulb, up to 40W, ready before the electrician comes, and the light can be switched on as soon as it is fitted.
