Description
The Selvara is a 600mm vertical bar wall light cut from natural travertine in a soft light beige tone, with a single opal glass globe set at the midpoint of the stone. A G9 lamp sits behind the glass, casting warm light through the diffuser and washing softly along the surface of the travertine above and below. The bar measures just 45mm wide and 45mm deep, giving the fitting a slim, architectural profile against the wall.
The slim vertical format suits hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and either side of bathroom mirrors or vanities where a tall narrow light works better than a horizontal fitting. Installed singly the Selvara reads as a sculptural element; mounted in pairs flanking a doorway, headboard or mirror, the repetition creates rhythm along a feature wall. The compact 45mm depth keeps the light close to the wall plane in narrow corridors where projecting fittings get in the way.
Travertine is a natural sedimentary stone, and each Selvara bar shows different surface pores, tonal banding and mineral variation depending on the section it was cut from. The light beige tone reads warm under most interior lighting and pairs comfortably with cream, oak, plaster and warm white walls. The opal glass globe diffuses the G9 lamp evenly, removing any hot spot and turning a small light source into a soft round glow against the stone backdrop.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Selvara take?
The fitting takes a single G9 capsule lamp, which is sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm white 2700K-3000K G9 LED rated 2-3W to match the warm glow shown in the product imagery.
Does each travertine bar look the same?
No. Travertine is a natural stone, so the surface pores, banding and tonal variation differ from piece to piece. The light beige base tone is consistent across the range, but the exact pattern of veining and pitting on each bar is unique.
Is the Selvara suitable for bathrooms?
The Selvara does not carry a published IP rating in the supplied specification, so it is not confirmed for bathroom zone use. For bathrooms please choose a fitting with a stated IP44 or higher rating.
How is the travertine cleaned?
Travertine is a porous natural stone. Dust regularly with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, or household sprays, which can etch the stone surface.
