Description

This is a tall, round storage basket made from half jute and half seagrass, 40cm across and 49cm tall with a gentle taper towards the base. Bands of white jute cord alternate with bands of braided seagrass from base to rim, joined by fine zigzag stitching, so the white reads as soft horizontal stripes rather than a flat block. A braided seagrass edge finishes the rim, and two handles are worked into the upper coils on opposite sides. At 0.817KG it is light to lift, even at this height.
