Description
The Knightsbridge 9-gang grid faceplate provides a screwless polished chrome frame for nine euro module inserts, arranged in a 3x3 grid across a 208mm x 148mm plate. The faceplate accepts any standard euro module insert — data sockets, HDMI, USB, coaxial TV, satellite, phone, or speaker terminals — allowing a fully customised multi-socket installation behind a single unified cover.
Designed for home offices, AV zones behind wall-mounted TVs, hotel rooms, and commercial reception areas where multiple connection types need to be grouped in one location, the 9-gang grid suits installations where five or six sockets would be too few. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed. The polished chrome finish provides a bright, reflective surface that pairs with modern, contemporary and traditional interiors.
Constructed from premium-grade steel with a built-in gasket to seal against the wall, the faceplate projects 10mm from the wall surface once fitted and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use. The 25-year guarantee covers the faceplate itself; euro module inserts are purchased separately and carry their own ratings depending on type. The plate fits standard UK back boxes with 25mm minimum depth, though deeper boxes are recommended when multiple high-current modules are installed together.

Frequently Asked
What inserts does this faceplate accept?
The faceplate accepts any standard euro module insert. Common choices include Cat6 data sockets, HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, coaxial TV, satellite F-type, 3.5mm audio, speaker terminals and RJ11 phone sockets. Inserts are sold separately and clip into the grid apertures behind the cover plate.
What back box depth is required?
A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed, but deeper boxes (35mm or 47mm) are recommended when installing multiple high-current modules or when cable management space is tight. The faceplate projects 10mm from the wall once fitted.
Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting or wallpapering around the socket and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring or the installed modules.
What other finishes are available?
Knightsbridge produces this 9-gang grid faceplate in a range of finishes including brushed chrome, matt black, polished brass, antique brass and white. Use the search function or filters to find other variants in stock at Niori.
