Description

Set a relaxed table with these scallop edge placemats, sold as a set of four. Made from recycled cotton, each mat pairs a soft cream body with a wavy blue trim that follows the scalloped outline all the way round. The gentle curves break up the straight lines of a table setting and bring a little movement to everyday meals.

The fabric feels substantial without being bulky, and at 300 by 400mm each mat gives plenty of room for a dinner plate, side plate and glass. The blue piping frames the natural cream weave, so plain white crockery and coloured tableware both sit well against it. Use them as a set of four for family dinners, or mix them with matching napkins for something a bit more pulled together.

Because the cotton is recycled, small flecks in the weave are part of the character rather than a flaw. The mats lie flat on the table and are easy to stack and store between uses.
