Description
The Sanja is a King bed frame in solid mango wood, 157.6cm wide and 212.2cm long, standing 120cm to the top of the headboard. The headboard is a mango wood frame around an inset panel upholstered in natural cotton, padded, run through with a fine broken black stripe and finished with a line of small studs where the fabric meets the wood. The footboard is a low solid panel of the same wood, level with the side rails. The base is a lattice of slats laid across the frame with a central rail underneath.
The headboard stands 120cm from the floor and the footboard is low, level with the side rails, so the bed reads tall at the head and open at the foot. The frame takes up 157.6 by 212.2cm of floor, which is the figure to measure a room against. The slatted base is built into the frame, so no separate bed base is needed, and the central rail runs the length of the base on its own foot. The frame is rated to 400kg.
The frame is solid mango wood and the headboard panel is cotton over padding. The wood is left pale with the grain showing, so no two frames carry the same figure, and the reverse of the headboard is finished as plainly as the front. The same bed is made as a Double and a Super King, and the wider Sanja range runs to an armchair, an ottoman, a bench and four sizes of striped cotton lampshade. The mattress and the bedding are not included.

Frequently Asked
Does it come with slats?
Yes. The base is a lattice of slats built into the frame with a central rail underneath, so a separate bed base is not needed.
How much weight will it take?
400kg.
What is the headboard covered in?
Cotton over padding, natural in colour with a fine broken black stripe, held in a mango wood frame with a line of small studs along the edge.
Does it come in other sizes?
Yes. The same bed is made as a Double and a Super King.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the wood with a soft dry cloth to lift dust and moisture, and use mild soap and water sparingly, always working along the grain. Harsh chemicals and abrasive materials will damage the finish, as will standing water. Keep it out of strong direct sunlight, which fades the wood, and away from extremes of heat and humidity, which can cause cracking and splitting.
