Sameen is a beige stoneware mug with a face. A calm, simple face sits on its side in raised relief: two long brows that sweep down into a nose, and a pair of lips set under it. It stands on a footed base, like a small pedestal, with a rounded loop handle and a plain band around the rim. It is made of 100% stoneware in a speckled beige glaze, measures 8cm across and 10.5cm tall, and holds 290ml, a proper mug size for a generous tea or a milky coffee.

This is a mug for everyday use as much as for display. Morning coffee, afternoon tea or a hot chocolate at the end of the day all sit comfortably in its 290ml.
