Description
Sacred Presence is a three-piece wall installation drawing on ancestral guardians and tribal totems. Across the panels you will find bold carved faces and intricate motifs that hold the essence of African storytelling, where every line and form carries symbolic weight. The three sections align to form a single scene measuring 300cm wide by 270cm high, giving you 8.10 square metres of coverage across the wall. Each piece is made from hand-made textured fibreglass, so no two castings are exactly alike.
This is a piece for larger, open rooms where a broad expanse of wall can carry it without crowding. It works well in living rooms, open-plan spaces and reception areas within homes, studios and commercial settings such as restaurants, bars and hotels. We find it appeals to people who want a sculptural focal point rooted in cultural narrative rather than a simple print or canvas, and to anyone drawn to the craft of hand-worked surfaces.
The three panels are cast in textured fibreglass and together weigh 71 kg, so the assembled installation needs secure fixing into a solid wall using appropriate fixings and anchors suited to the wall type. We recommend two people for handling and mounting, working from a marked-out layout so the sections line up correctly. To clean, wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, which can dull the finish. For styling, we suggest angled lighting from one side, which picks out the carved faces and motifs and lends depth to the raised detail.

Frequently Asked
What is Sacred Presence made from?
It is made from hand-made textured fibreglass. Each panel is individually cast, so slight variations in texture are part of the character rather than a fault.
How do the three pieces go together?
The three panels align side by side to form a single scene measuring 300cm wide by 270cm high. We suggest marking out the full layout on the wall first, then mounting each section in turn so the carved detail lines up across the joins.
How should it be fixed to the wall?
The complete installation weighs 71 kg, so it must be fixed to a solid wall using anchors and fixings suited to your wall type. We recommend two people for handling and mounting to keep the panels aligned and supported.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads, as these can dull the textured finish over time.
How much wall space do I need?
You will need a clear area of at least 300cm wide by 270cm high, giving 8.10 square metres of coverage. Allow a little extra space around the edges so the piece has room to breathe.
