Description
Our Rustic Pillar Candle brings a moody grey glow to any setting. The slate colouring runs deep and uneven, with a scraped surface and small imperfections that give each candle its own worn, weathered look. It is a broad cylinder shape, standing 95mm tall and 70mm across, so it holds its ground on a mantel, tray or dining table without tipping easily.
Made from paraffin wax with a cotton wick, each candle offers a burn time of roughly 35 hours. The tonal grey finish sits well against natural wood, stone and darker interiors, and the rustic texture means it looks good both lit and unlit. Group a few together at varying heights for a layered display, or keep a single pillar as a quiet focal point on a shelf or windowsill.
This set of 2 pairs neatly for symmetrical styling either side of a centrepiece, or spread through different rooms. The self-standing pillar form means no holder is required, though sitting it on a plate or dish helps catch any drips as the wax pools.

Frequently Asked
What is the burn time?
Each pillar candle burns for approximately 35 hours. Actual time varies with draughts and how long the candle is lit each session.
What is the candle made from?
It is made from paraffin wax with a cotton wick, which gives a steady flame and even burn.
Do I need a holder?
No holder is required as the pillar is self-standing. We do suggest placing it on a plate or dish to catch any melted wax.
How many candles are included?
This is a set of 2, ideal for symmetrical displays or spreading across different rooms.
How do I get an even burn?
Let the candle burn long enough for the wax pool to reach the edges on the first use, and trim the wick to around 5mm before relighting.
