Description

This set of two framed prints brings the countryside indoors through the linocut work of Laura Bolton. One shows a black cat sat among wildflowers, watching a butterfly drift past under a soft cloudy sky. The other traces a winding lane through rolling fields and hedgerows, with a farmhouse tucked into the hills and birds overhead. Both are worked in black ink on a pale background, so the fine cut lines and textures carry the detail.

Each print sits behind glass with a wide white mount that gives the artwork room to breathe. The pale wood-effect frames keep the focus on the monochrome images and suit a range of walls, from plain painted plaster to papered feature walls. Hung as a pair, they read as a small gallery moment; the square format makes them easy to line up side by side or stack.
