The Rowan cushion is a shaggy, curly-pile faux fur front in a soft natural cream, made from 100% polyester. The pile is long and loosely coiled, catching the light in the same way a Mongolian sheepskin does, and it gives the cushion real presence on a sofa or bed. This is the 50 x 50cm square, a generous size that holds its shape when you lean into it and reads as a proper feature rather than a small accent.

It suits a living room where you want texture more than pattern, and it earns its place beside flat weaves and smooth velvets by doing something none of them do. The pale, undyed-looking cream sits happily against warmer tones like rust and terracotta, and against deep greens, so it works whether your palette runs cool or warm. Drop it into a reading corner, layer it at the head of a bed, or use it to break up a run of plain scatter cushions.
