Description
The Rovano is a single-light wall fitting built around a 200mm travertine dome shade suspended from a slim matt black arm, finished with an opal glass globe beneath the stone. A round walnut brown wooden backplate anchors the fixture to the wall, with the black arm extending outward before dropping into a short cable to the shade. The lamp takes one G9 bulb, sold separately.
With a 280mm projection from the wall, the Rovano is suited to bedside positions in place of a table lamp, hallway runs where a low-profile fitting would feel too sparse, and living room walls flanking artwork or a fireplace. The hanging composition gives the light a pendant-style silhouette while keeping it wall-mounted, which works in rooms where ceiling-hung pendants are not practical. Standard UK back box wiring applies.
Travertine is a natural sedimentary stone, so each dome shows different pore patterns, mineral banding and tonal variation between pale beige and warmer cream tones. The walnut brown timber backplate and ceiling cup pick up the warm undertones in the stone, while the matt black arm and cable provide a defined graphic line between the two natural materials. The opal glass globe diffuses the G9 bulb evenly, with light reflecting up into the underside of the travertine to highlight its texture.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Rovano take?
The lamp takes one G9 bulb, sold separately. A G9 LED between 2.5-4W in 2700K-3000K warm white pairs well with the opal glass globe and warm tones of the travertine and walnut.
Does each travertine dome look the same?
No. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pore pattern, banding and tonal variation differ between individual shades. The colour sits broadly within the light beige to warm cream range shown in the listing image.
Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
The Rovano is an indoor fitting and is not supplied with an IP rating for damp or wet zones. It should not be installed in bathroom zones or outdoors. Living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairwells are all suitable.
How far does it project from the wall?
The fixture projects 280mm from the wall and the shade has a 200mm diameter. Allow clearance in narrow hallways or beside furniture so the dome and globe sit clear of any obstruction.
