Description

The Roda S/90/V is a large ring pendant light that hangs upright, with a White Translucent Ribbon shade pleated finely around a dark inner ring. The ring is 90cm across and 11cm deep, and it hangs from a round canopy 22cm across on a drop of up to 200cm. Its integrated LED draws 31W and gives 512lm of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and colours and skin tones look natural beneath it. The translucent ribbon softens that light into a gentle, even glow around the whole ring, with the dark inner edge framing the open centre.

We see it hanging above a dining table or at the centre of a living room, where a ring this size gives the space a clear focal point and its warm light suits relaxed evenings. With a drop of up to 200cm, it can be set at the height that suits your ceiling and your table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It comes in two installation versions, Surface canopy and Remote driver, and in three dimming versions: LED, 1-10V dimmable; LED, TRIAC dimmable; and LED, DALI dimmable. The TRIAC dimmable version works with a compatible dimmer, while the 1-10V and DALI versions suit a lighting control system of the same type.

It is made from aluminium, steel and ribbon, with the ribbon pleated in fine, even folds that look neat whether the light is on or off. It is a Class I fitting for 230V mains power and must be wired in by a qualified electrician. Before you order, choose the installation version that suits your ceiling and the dimming version that matches your dimmer or control system, so the ring is ready to hang over the table or seating you have in mind.
