Description

The Roda S/200/V is a very large ring pendant light that hangs vertically, so the circle faces into the room like a hoop held in the air. Its shade is a band of White Translucent Ribbon, finely pleated all the way round and edged by a dark inner ring, and when it is lit the whole band glows with a soft, warm light. It is made of aluminium, steel and ribbon. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 73.2W and gives 1070lm at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look natural beneath it. It hangs on fine wires from a round canopy 30cm across, on a drop of up to 200cm, and the ring is 11cm deep.

This is a pendant for a big space with height to spare. It suits a generous dining room or a large living room, and its scale comes into its own in a double-height hallway or a tall stairwell, where a single ring can fill the space overhead. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. We sell it in two installation versions, with a surface canopy or with a remote driver, and in two dimming versions, one of them DALI dimmable, which suits a lighting control system; your electrician can confirm which version works with your controls.

It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. It is a Class I fitting. The pleats of the ribbon run evenly around the whole band, and the dark inner ring frames the open centre of the circle. Before you choose where it hangs, measure your ceiling height: with a drop of up to 200cm, you can set the ring well clear of heads and furniture.
