Description

The Roda S/200 is a ring LED pendant light on a generous scale: a ring 200cm across and 6cm tall, wrapped in a Cream Translucent Ribbon shade that is pleated all the way round, with a black ring tracing its inner edge. The light is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. Light passes through the translucent ribbon and the shade glows warmly all round. It gives 1053lm at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin tones look natural beneath it. It draws 73.2W and runs at 230V.

A ring 200cm across needs a large room. This one suits a long dining table or the centre of a generous living room, where it reads as one wide circle of light. It hangs on fine wires with a drop of up to 200cm, so you can set it low over a table or higher where the ceiling is tall. It comes in two installation versions, surface canopy or remote driver, and in two dimming versions: a DALI dimmable version and an analogue dimmable version. Each dims with a compatible dimmer or control system, so choose the version that matches the controls in your home.

Its materials are aluminium, steel and ribbon, and it is a Class I fitting. It is wired in to the mains by an electrician, so a qualified electrician should install it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. With 1053lm spread round a ring this size, it gives a gentle, ambient light rather than a bright task light, so pair it with other lighting where you need bright light for reading. Before you order, measure your table and check the height of your ceiling, since a ring this wide needs clear space all round it to hang level and look its best.
