Description
The Rocket D55 Single is a small recessed marker built to sit flush into a path, deck or step and give a low, guiding glow underfoot. It is a round brushed-steel disc about 55mm across with a single directed aperture behind a tempered-glass lens, so light throws out one way rather than all around. Set into the surface it can be walked over and driven over, reading as a discreet point of warm 3000K light along the edge of a route; unlit, the small steel ring sits nearly flush and stays quiet.
The LED is built in and draws just 2W, giving a modest 130-lumen beam aimed to graze the ground or a low wall rather than to light a whole area. This is marker-scale light, meant to trace the line of a path, a set of steps or a driveway edge in a row rather than to flood a space. Colour is a warm 3000K with a colour rendering above 90. The matching Double version emits from two opposed apertures for a two-way run, and the larger Rocket heads step up in output where more light is wanted.
The body is brushed steel with a tempered-glass lens, rated IP67 for full burial in wet ground and rated to be walked on, so it handles rain, standing water and foot traffic. The LED is fixed and rated to 50,000 hours, with nothing to fit or replace. It runs on 12-24V DC from a remote driver, which is not included and is ordered to match the run, so we supply the fitting and can add the correct driver alongside.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Rocket D55 Single give?
A low, guiding glow from a single aperture. The built-in 2W LED gives about 130 lumens of warm 3000K light aimed one way, so it is marker-scale, meant to trace a path, step or driveway edge rather than light a whole area.
What is the difference between Single and Double?
The Single emits from one aperture in a single direction; the Double emits from two opposed apertures for a two-way wash along a route. Both are the same 55mm brushed-steel body at 2W and 3000K.
Is it suitable for full outdoor exposure?
Yes. It is rated IP67 in brushed steel with a tempered-glass lens, so it withstands rain and standing water and can be buried in the ground. It is rated to be walked on once installed.
Does it need a separate driver?
Yes. It runs on 12-24V DC from a remote driver that is not included, ordered to suit the run. We can supply the matching driver alongside the light. The LED is built in and non-replaceable, rated to 50,000 hours.
