Description
The Rocket is a in-ground light that sets flush into the ground and gives a warm point of light underfoot. This is the 55mm version, with a steel body and a tempered glass lens set behind a brushed steel rim, so it reads as a neat steel disc in paving, a deck or a step rather than a raised fitting. Rated to be walked over, it is made to mark a route or an edge from ground level.
The LED is built in and gives 130 lumens at a warm 3000K through a wide 40 degree beam, so it spreads a broader, softer pool than the tighter mini heads. That wider spread suits washing across a step tread, a threshold or the edge of a terrace, where a line of them lays down an even band of light rather than separate spots. With a colour rendering above 90 the light stays warm and natural against stone or timber.
The LED is built in and rated for around 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. Rated IP67, it is sealed against dust and immersion for outdoor floor and ground use, and its tempered glass lens takes foot traffic. It runs from a driver, which we can supply alongside so it arrives ready to wire in.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Rocket give?
A wide, warm wash underfoot. The built-in LED gives 130 lumens at 3000K through a 40 degree beam, so it lays down a broader, softer pool to wash a step, threshold or terrace edge rather than a tight spot.
Can it be walked on and used outdoors?
Yes. It is a walkable in-ground fitting with a tempered glass lens, rated IP67 against dust and immersion, so it suits paving, decks, steps and terraces as well as indoor floors.
How does it compare to the smaller Rocket heads?
At 55mm it is the larger of the wide heads, with a steel body and a wide 40 degree beam against the tighter 10 and 20 degree mini versions. It spreads a broader band of light, better for washing an edge than marking a point.
How big is it and where does it suit?
It is a 55mm brushed steel disc, 105mm deep. Rated IP67 and walkable, its wide beam suits washing a step, a threshold or a terrace edge, run singly or in a line.
