Description
The Rocket D28 is the smallest marker in the range, a in-ground light built to sit flush into a path, step or deck and drop a tight point of light onto the surface. It is a round aluminium disc about 28mm across with a tempered-glass lens, small enough to tuck into a tread or a paving joint. Set flush it can be walked over and driven over, reading as a neat pinpoint of neutral 4000K light; unlit, the little ring sits level with the surface and is easy to miss.
The LED is built in and draws just over one watt for about 120 lumens through a narrow 10-degree beam, the tightest optic in the range. That focused cone marks a single spot cleanly, so a row of them reads as crisp dots down a stair or along a path edge rather than a wash of light. Colour is a neutral 4000K with a colour rendering above 90, a cool, modern tone. The 40mm head opens to a wider 20-degree beam, and the larger steel heads step up in output for stronger accents on the same run.
The body is aluminium with a tempered-glass lens, rated IP67 for full burial in wet ground and rated to be walked on, so it handles rain, standing water and foot traffic. The LED is fixed and rated to 35,000 hours, with nothing to fit or replace. It runs on 3V DC from a remote driver, which is not included and is ordered to match the run, so we supply the fitting and can add the correct driver alongside.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Rocket D28 give?
A tight pinpoint. The built-in LED draws just over a watt for about 120 lumens through a narrow 10-degree beam, so it marks a single spot cleanly and a row reads as crisp dots down a stair or path rather than a wash.
How small is it?
It is the smallest Rocket head, an aluminium disc about 28mm across and 50mm deep, small enough to set into a stair tread or a paving joint. It sits flush and can be walked over once installed.
Is it suitable for full outdoor exposure?
Yes. It is rated IP67 in aluminium with a tempered-glass lens, so it withstands rain and standing water and can be buried in the ground. It is rated to be walked on.
Does it need a separate driver?
Yes. It runs on 3V DC from a remote driver that is not included, ordered to suit the run. We can supply the matching driver alongside the light. The LED is built in and non-replaceable, rated to 35,000 hours.
