Description
The Rocket is a in-ground light built to sit flush into a walkway, deck or terrace and send a beam of light up from underfoot. This is the largest head in the range, a round brushed-steel disc about 104mm across with a tempered-glass diffuser set into the top, so it can be walked over and driven over once it is set into the surface. Lit, it reads as a firm pool of warm 3000K light rising from the ground; unlit, the low steel ring sits nearly level with the paving and all but disappears.
The LED is built in and gives 900 lumens through a defined 28-degree beam, a controlled shaft of light rather than a broad wash, which suits grazing up a wall, marking a path edge or picking out a tree or column from below. Colour is a warm 3000K with a colour rendering above 90, so brick, render and foliage keep their true tone after dark. A matching 4000K version covers the same fitting where a cooler, crisper light is wanted, and the smaller Rocket heads step down to narrower beams for tighter accents along the same run.
The body is brushed steel with a tempered-glass lens, rated IP67 for full burial in wet ground and rated to be walked on, so it takes rain, puddling and foot traffic. The LED is fixed and rated to 50,000 hours, with nothing to fit or replace. It runs on 24V DC from a remote driver, which is not included and is ordered to match, so we supply the fitting and can add the correct driver to complete the run.

Frequently Asked
Where is the Rocket meant to go?
Into the ground or a hard surface. It is a recessed walk-over fitting for a path, deck, terrace or driveway, set flush so it can be walked over and driven over, sending a warm 3000K beam up from underfoot to graze a wall, edge a path or uplight a tree.
Is it suitable for full outdoor exposure?
Yes. It is rated IP67 in brushed steel with a tempered-glass lens, so it withstands rain and standing water and can be buried in the ground. It is also rated to be walked on once installed.
Does it need a separate driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC from a remote driver that is not included, ordered to suit the number of fittings on the run. We can supply the matching driver alongside the light. The LED itself is built in and non-replaceable, rated to 50,000 hours.
How is this different from the smaller Rocket heads?
This is the 10W, 104mm head with the brightest 900-lumen output and a 28-degree beam. The smaller 55mm, 40mm and 28mm heads give lower output through tighter beams for finer accents, so a scheme can mix sizes along one run.
