Description

The Rimini LED cone pendant light is a blue iron cone hung from a dark textile cable, with clean lines and nothing fussy about it. The shade tapers from a narrow top to a wide open rim, and its integrated LED sends a 45° beam downwards in a defined pool of light. With the LED built in, there is no bulb to fit. It draws 4.5W and gives 600 lumens, and with a CRI of 90 or more, food, fabrics and paint colours look true beneath it. It comes in two colour temperatures, 2700K for a warmer glow or 3000K for a slightly whiter light, so you can choose the one that sits best with the rest of your lighting.

We think its modern, Scandinavian look suits a dining table, where the focused light falls on the plates rather than across the room, and it works just as well over a desk, beside a bed in place of a table lamp, or in a hallway or on a landing. The blue gives a pale room a confident block of colour without overpowering it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The light is switched on and off and is not dimmable, so it is for an ordinary switch rather than a dimmer.

The structure is iron, finished in blue, and the shade hangs from a 1.5m textile cable. It runs on 220-240V mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 5 year guarantee. For styling, we would hang two or three in a line over a long dining table for a run of colour, or use one on its own against white walls, pale oak and natural linen for a fresh, Scandinavian feel.
