Description

The Rimini is a cone pendant light in green, built on an iron structure with an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. Its conical shade narrows to a slim top and opens wide at the base, sending light downwards in a 45° beam: a focused pool of light rather than a wash across the whole room. It draws 4.5W and gives 600 lumens. It comes in two colour temperatures, 2700K for a warmer, softer white and 3000K for a slightly fresher warm white, and its colour rendering is CRI 90 or above, so food, fabrics and skin tones look natural beneath it. It hangs on a 1.5m black textile cable.

Because the beam is focused, this is a pendant for lighting something in particular: hang it over a dining table, above a desk in a study, or beside the bed in place of a table lamp, and several in a row work well along a long dining table. The green sits comfortably in modern and Scandinavian rooms, against pale wood, white walls and natural linen, and the simple cone keeps the look calm. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only: living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, studies and hallways.

It is dimmable on DALI, which means it needs a DALI control system or a DALI dimmer to dim; an ordinary wall dimmer will not do, so it suits a home or extension already wired for DALI control. It runs on 220-240V mains and, as a mains fitting, is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 5 year guarantee. For styling, we would let the green be the one note of colour in a room of soft neutrals, or hang it over a pale oak table where the cone throws its light straight onto the wood.
