Description

We stock the Rim as a three-ring LED pendant in a brass finish, at 1340mm the largest size in the range. Three aluminium rings sit at different angles to build a sculptural, open form, and each ring holds an integrated LED that casts light both up and down. Together they give 3554 lumens from 84W, so the fitting reads as a piece in its own right while still doing the work of a main light.

We would hang this over a large dining table or in an entrance hall where there is height to let the rings breathe. The LED runs at two switchable colour temperatures, a warm amber 2600K and a neutral warm white 3500K, so you can set the tone to suit the room or the time of day, and a wide 120 degree beam spreads the light for ambient rather than task lighting. The brass tone sits happily alongside gold and warm-metal accents in both contemporary and more classical rooms.

The pendant is dimmable on a compatible LED dimmer (sold separately), letting you take it from full brightness down to a soft glow. It runs on standard 220 to 240V mains, draws 84W and carries an 80 CRI rating for honest, natural colour. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or outdoors, and its energy class is G.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED dims on a compatible LED dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness down to a soft glow for dining or relaxing.

Can I change the colour of the light?

Yes. The LED switches between a warm amber 2600K and a neutral warm white 3500K, so you can pick the tone that suits the room and the time of day.

What size room does it suit?

At 1340mm across with three rings it needs a large space and some ceiling height, so we would place it over a big dining table or in an entrance hall rather than a small room.

Does it need bulbs, and can it go in a bathroom?

No bulbs are needed as the LED is integrated and gives 3554 lumens on its own. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.
