Description

The Rillow is a small brass spotlight with a single flared, bell-shaped head that sends a neat pool of light exactly where you point it. The head sits on a jointed knuckle with a wing nut, so you can angle it and fix it in position, and the fitting is held by a round back plate. It is 14cm tall, projects 13cm and is 8cm wide, so it stays compact. It takes one GU10 bulb, which is sold separately, at up to 6.5W per bulb (LED). We offer it in Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Black, Matt Vanilla Cream, Sage Green, Matt Antique Pink, Matt Black, Matt Honey Yellow, Matt Mint Turquoise, Matt Sapphire Blue, Orange, Red, Racing Green, Polished Brass and Satin Brass.

In the kitchen, this spotlight is at home lighting open shelving, a dresser or a row of cupboards, and a pair side by side gives a wider spread of directed light. Because the head angles, you can also turn it onto a picture, a favourite piece of china or a dining table and set the light just where it is useful. The plain, traditional bell shape suits a period kitchen as readily as a more modern one, and the choice of colours means it can match painted cabinetry or stand out against it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Every Rillow is made from brass and made to order for you in Ireland. Its painted colours follow RAL references, Racing Green RAL 6005 and Matt Sapphire Blue RAL 5003 among them. It is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, and bulbs are not covered. Choose your finish, fit a GU10 LED bulb of up to 6.5W, and the head can be aimed wherever you need the light.
