The Riga is a two-light pendant with a pair of white opal glass globes, set at either end of a slim curved arch that hangs from a single stem. Its iron frame is finished in olive green and is hung on a textile cable, giving a soft, modern line with a quiet touch of colour overhead. Each globe takes a G9 lamp, so there are two G9 lamp holders in all, and we recommend G9 LED lamps for them. It comes in two sizes, 50cm and 80cm. The 50cm size has an 8cm canopy and two 10cm glass globes; the 80cm size has the same 8cm canopy and two 10cm glass globes, so the globes stay the same whichever you choose.

With the light coming from two opal globes, the Riga gives a soft, even glow at two points, which suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a dining table where you want gentle light rather than glare. Choose the 50cm size for a smaller room or a compact table, and the 80cm size where there is more space to fill. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It runs on 220-240V mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.

The frame is iron, the shades are glass and the textile cable is 1.5m long, a simple mix of materials that keeps the look clean and modern. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, the olive green frame sits happily with natural oak, linen, rattan and warm white walls, while the white opal globes keep it fresh against a pale ceiling.
