Description
The Rex is a curved half-cylinder for an outside wall, its face kept solid so light passes only through the top rim and the bottom lip. Lit at night it lays two soft arcs on the surface, one rising up the wall and one dropping below, the white acrylic panels at each edge spreading the output so a bright bulb never shows. By day it reads as a clean rounded block bowing off the wall, 250mm wide and 130mm proud.
This is the grey version, a mid-tone die-cast aluminium body that settles quietly against concrete, render or pale stone while the twin wash carries the light. It takes a standard E27 bulb, so brightness and warmth are set by the lamp you choose, which makes it easy to tune for a modern facade or a softer garden corner. Its rounded shape suits a porch, a carport, a patio or a line spaced along a wall.
The body is powder-coated die-cast aluminium with white acrylic diffusers along the top and bottom edges, and it is rated IP54 against dust and splashing water for outdoor use. It accepts one E27 bulb up to 60W, which is not included, so you can fit an LED lamp at the colour temperature you want. It wires straight to the mains.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Rex give?
A twin wash, one arc climbing the wall and one dropping below, from the top rim and bottom lip. The face is closed, so the effect on the surface is two soft bands of light rather than a lit panel or a visible bulb.
Does it take a bulb or is one included?
It takes one standard E27 bulb up to 60W, and a bulb is not included. You can fit an LED lamp at the level you prefer, from a warm 2700K glow to a crisper 4000K white to match a modern facade.
Is it suitable for outdoors?
Yes. It is rated IP54, sealed against dust and splashing water, so it suits a porch, a carport or a patio wall. As with any outdoor fitting it should be wired by a qualified electrician.
How big is it and where does it suit?
It measures 250mm wide, 120mm tall and 130mm off the wall. The up and down wash suits a doorway, a carport, a patio or a run along a wall, where a soft grazing light is wanted rather than a flood.
