Description

The Renata cone pendant light is a single drop with a clean conical shade in matt white, finished with a slim gold-toned band where the shade meets its stem. Its structure is aluminium, and it hangs on 1.5m of textile cable from a 12cm ceiling canopy. The pendant measures 28cm tall and 25cm across. It takes one E27 lamp, which is not included, so you choose the bulb and the warmth of light that suits the room.

This is a pendant for dry rooms. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in a living room, bedroom, hallway or dining room rather than anywhere damp. Hung over a dining table, the cone gathers the light and sends it down onto the table, and two or three in a row work well along a longer table. Its modern, Scandinavian lines sit comfortably in a pared back scheme of pale wood, linen and white walls, and the gold-toned band gives a warm accent against plain surfaces. On its own it suits a bedside, hung low beside the bed in place of a table lamp, or a hallway where a single clean shape is all you need.

The structure is aluminium in a smooth matt white finish, and the textile cable gives a softer, more finished look than a plain flex. It works from a standard on-off switch on a 220 to 240 volt supply, and like any mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 2 year guarantee. For styling, we like it with a warm white bulb for a gentle pool of light, hung low enough over a table that the gold-toned band catches the eye from your seat.
