Description

The Relvena wall light is a curved steel shade cut through with a pattern of leaves, held out from the wall on a round backplate and finished in a warm bronze. It measures 30cm long and 30cm high and stands 10.5cm from the wall, so it sits close to the plaster without crowding a hallway or a landing. At its centre is an exposed E27 lampholder that takes a screw bulb of up to 60W; the bulb is not included. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors and is kept away from bathrooms and outside walls.

We think it suits a living room, a study, a bedroom or a hallway, anywhere you want a wall light with some character. Once a bulb is lit, the light passes through the cut leaves and throws a pattern of foliage across the wall around it, so even a plain painted wall gains texture in the evening. A pair either side of a bed or a sofa works well, and a single one makes a good partner for framed prints or a shelf of plants. The bronze reads as a deep, metallic brown that sits happily beside black frames, natural wood and green leaves.
