Description

The Relvena is a pendant light with a wide, softly waved disc shade in bronze-finished steel, cut through with a repeating pattern of small leaf shapes. The shade is 80cm in diameter and the light measures 200cm in overall height, hanging on a slim black cord from a round ceiling rose. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, so you can choose the colour of light you prefer. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

With a shade this broad, the Relvena suits a room with space around it: centred over a dining table, hung in the middle of a living room, or above a kitchen island in an open-plan home. At 80cm across it holds its own in a larger room where a small shade would look lost. The leaf cut-outs let light pass through the steel, so the shade reads as a delicate pattern of light and shadow rather than a solid disc, and the waved brim softens the outline.
