Description

The Quark is a small recessed downlight that sets flush into the ceiling and drops a neat circle of warm light onto the floor. It is a compact fitting with a black trim, so once it is in it reads as a small dark ring against the plaster rather than a bulky housing. Lit, it gives a clean pool of 3000K light for general or accent use.

This is the 9W version, with a built-in LED and a black finish. As a recessed spot it needs a ceiling void to sit in, and it lights straight down at a fixed warm 3000K tone. Several run in a line give an even wash across a hallway or a kitchen, while a single fitting picks out a worktop, a basin or a reading spot.

The source is a built-in LED, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. It runs at a fixed output and is intended for dry indoor rooms. We would set it into a plasterboard or similar ceiling with clearance above, either singly or spaced along a run.
