QTX QTFX-B2 Bubble Machine

The QTX QTFX-B2 is a 40W bubble machine with a 0.6-litre fluid tank, a high-speed fan spinning at 20rpm, and a rotating bubble wheel that produces continuous streams of bubbles for parties, weddings, mobile DJ sets and events. The machine runs on 230V mains via an IEC socket and includes a carry handle for transport between venues.

Designed for mobile entertainers and event use, the QTFX-B2 sits on a flat surface or can be suspended from trussing using the carry handle. The 0.6L tank provides approximately 1-2 hours of continuous operation depending on output intensity, and the tank can be topped up mid-session without powering down. The high-speed fan pushes bubbles outward and upward, distributing them across a 3-4m radius from the machine when positioned at floor level.

The outer casing is matt black powder-coated steel with ventilation slots on the lower panel to prevent motor overheating during extended use. The bubble wheel at the front rotates through the fluid reservoir, picks up bubble solution on each turn, and passes it into the fan stream where bubbles form and are blown into the room. The tank features a screw-cap lid for easy refilling and a drain plug for emptying fluid at the end of a session. Dimensions are 290mm wide, 240mm deep and 220mm high, with a total weight of 2kg when the tank is empty.

What bubble fluid does it use?

The QTFX-B2 works with standard water-based bubble fluid. QTX recommends their own bubble fluid (160.574 for 1L or 160.575 for 5L), available separately. Do not use foam fluid, haze fluid or glycerine-based mixtures as these can clog the bubble wheel.

How long does a full tank last?

A full 0.6L tank provides approximately 1-2 hours of continuous bubble output depending on room temperature, humidity and machine positioning. The tank can be refilled during operation without switching off.

Can it be mounted on trussing?

The carry handle allows the machine to be suspended from lighting truss or hung from an overhead hook. Ensure the machine is level when suspended to prevent fluid leaking from the tank cap.

How is the tank cleaned after use?

Empty remaining fluid via the drain plug on the underside of the tank. Rinse the tank with warm water, wipe the bubble wheel with a damp cloth to remove residue, and leave the machine to air-dry before storing. Do not submerge the motor housing in water.
