Description

The QTX Pixelator is an LED effects bar fitted with 144 high output SMD5050 3-in-1 RGB LEDs, giving you a wide range of bright, colourful patterns, moving effects and washes. The LEDs are split across 12 independent control zones, so you can run chases and gradients along the length of the bar rather than a single flat colour. With a 90 degree beam angle, it covers a good spread whether you point it at a stage, a wall or a dancefloor.

You can run the Pixelator straight from the unit using automatic, show and sound-to-light modes, each of which can be tailored with speed, sensitivity and strobe settings. For fuller control, connect it via DMX (DMX512) in 3, 5, 8, 36 or 40 channel modes, and link multiple units together in master/slave or DMX to build a wider effect across a rig. The twist and lock power connections make in and out cabling secure and quick, and DMX runs on standard 3-pin XLR in and out.

It runs on 110-240Vac at 50/60Hz and draws 60W, so it sits happily alongside other fixtures without straining a supply. The bar measures 60 x 80 x 1010mm and weighs 1.54kg, making it easy to handle for a single person. It comes supplied with a twist and lock power lead and dual tilt-adjustable mounting brackets, so you can hang it, mount it on truss or stand it on the floor to suit the venue.
