Description

A Christmas tree built from iron wire, 154cm tall and 62cm across, standing on a solid square plate rather than a tripod. The trunk is twisted wire and the branches work out from it in tiers, each one ending in a spray of fine twigs. The wire is finished in brass.

One hundred and fifty-four centimetres is floor height, so this is the largest of the three Prevessa trees and the one that stands in place of a cut tree rather than beside one. The branches are left bare to be dressed, taking baubles or fairy lights wound along the trunk. The solid base holds it upright without weighting or propping.

The wire is iron under a brass finish. Every branch is bent and twisted by hand, so no two trees carry quite the same spread. A 53cm and a 95cm Prevessa run alongside it, both on a tripod base. Baubles and lights are not included.
