Description

The Pravenne is a ceiling fan and a ceiling light in one round drum, finished in matt black with a milky acrylic ring around the fan grille. It measures 48cm in diameter and 21cm high, and the blades sit behind a fine slatted grille rather than sweeping openly across the room. The light comes from integrated LEDs: three lights at 8.5W each, every one giving 1,067lm, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles it as a fitting for dry indoor rooms, never a bathroom or anywhere outside.

Indoors, it is a natural choice for a living room, bedroom, home office or dining room, anywhere you want moving air and good overhead light from a single ceiling point. The colour temperature runs from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same fitting can give a relaxed evening glow in a lounge or a crisp, bright white over a desk. A narrow band around the body changes colour, adding a soft accent whenever you fancy a change of mood. With the fan and the light sharing one fitting, the ceiling stays uncluttered in a room where two separate fittings would crowd it.

The body is made of ABS, finished in matt black. ABS is a tough, lightweight plastic. Milky acrylic diffuses light, so the ring glows softly rather than glaring. A remote control comes in the box, and the settings include six fan speeds, a timer, dimming, adjustable colour temperature and the colour-changing light. The fan direction is reversible as well. It runs on 220-230V mains and weighs 4.35KG packed. As a wired-in ceiling fitting, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download.
