The Pranvelle is a linear pendant light that hangs three fabric shades in a row from a black steel ceiling bar. Each shade is wound from textile thread in a natural colour, and its faceted form widens from a narrow top to a broad shoulder before tucking in at the base, so the light glows warmly through the weave. The whole fitting is 90cm long, 20cm wide and 110cm tall overall. It takes three E27 bulbs of up to 40W each, and the bulbs are not included. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry rooms indoors, which keeps it to the dining room, kitchen and living spaces rather than the bathroom or the garden.

Three pendants on a single bar are a natural choice over a dining table, where the 90cm length spreads light along the table rather than pooling it in the middle. A kitchen island or a breakfast bar works just as well. The natural thread brings a soft, earthy texture that sits comfortably with oak, rattan and linen, while the black bar and cables give it a crisp outline against a pale ceiling. The ceiling bar is black steel, and the three shades are textile thread in a natural colour, laid in fine, close strands that soften the glow of each bulb. There is no switch on the fitting itself: it is switched at the wall, so it runs from your existing light switch. It takes 220 to 240V mains and weighs 3.032KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a PDF download. Have three E27 bulbs ready on the day, and choose a warm white to suit the natural thread.
