Description

The Sangamo Powersaver Plus Select is a programmable controller with a white finish, LCD display, and capacity for up to 10 on/off programs per day across 24-hour, 5/2-day or 7-day cycles. The controller switches loads up to 16A at 240V AC, making it suitable for controlling lighting, heating, ventilation or other timed electrical loads in residential, commercial and light industrial settings.

The unit can be surface-mounted using the included single-gang mount box or fitted flush into a standard back box. The LCD shows the current time, day of the week, program status and selected mode, with a green indicator confirming power. A button lock feature prevents accidental reprogramming once the schedule is set, while permanent memory reserve retains all programmed cycles even after a power cut.

The boost function provides manual override in six preset intervals: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or 6 hours, allowing temporary activation outside the programmed schedule without erasing stored programs. The controller includes automatic summer/winter time change adjustment. At 90mm wide, 62mm deep and 92mm tall, the unit fits a standard single-gang mounting position.

What is the difference between 24-hour, 5/2-day and 7-day cycles?

24-hour mode repeats the same program every day. 5/2-day mode uses one program for weekdays and a different program for weekends. 7-day mode allows a unique program for each day of the week.

What load can the controller switch?

The controller is rated at 16A at 240V AC, which equates to a maximum resistive load of 3,840W. This is suitable for lighting circuits, immersion heaters, ventilation fans and similar timed loads.

Does it retain programs after a power cut?

Yes. The permanent memory reserve stores all programmed cycles and settings even when mains power is disconnected, so the controller does not need reprogramming after a power outage.

Can it be mounted flush or surface-mounted?

Both. The unit can be flush-mounted into a standard single-gang back box, or surface-mounted using the included single-gang mount box that comes in the packaging.
