Description

The PowerMaster 8W LED bulkhead gear tray is a 190mm circular aluminium PCB board carrying surface-mounted LEDs, an integrated driver and a CCT-adjustable function that switches between three colour temperatures: 3000K warm white, 4000K cool white and 6500K daylight. The tray is designed as a replacement component for compatible emergency and standard bulkhead fittings, delivering 1,725 lumens at 8W across a 120° beam angle.

CCT adjustment is set via a switch on the PCB before installation, allowing the same component to be used across residential, commercial and industrial settings where different colour temperatures are required. The 3000K setting suits domestic hallways, bedrooms and living spaces; the 4000K setting suits offices, kitchens and retail; the 6500K setting suits workshops, garages and task-focused environments where daylight simulation is preferred. The gear tray fits bulkhead fittings with a compatible 190mm mounting diameter and operates on 220-240V AC mains.

The aluminium PCB dissipates heat efficiently across the 190mm diameter, supporting stable LED performance within the working temperature range of -10°C to +40°C. The integrated isolated driver provides flicker-free output and includes quick-fit push terminals (3-way or 4-way depending on the bulkhead housing) to simplify wiring during installation or replacement. The CRI rating of >80 maintains accurate colour rendering across all three CCT settings, and the IP20 rating confirms the tray is suitable for indoor use in dry environments (Zone 3 only).

How is the CCT changed?

The colour temperature is set via a physical switch on the PCB before the tray is installed into the bulkhead housing. Once the tray is fitted and the cover is closed, the CCT setting cannot be changed without removing the cover and accessing the PCB again.

What bulkhead fittings is this compatible with?

The tray fits PowerMaster and compatible emergency or standard bulkheads with a 190mm mounting diameter and quick-fit push terminal wiring. Check the existing gear tray diameter and terminal configuration before ordering a replacement.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated driver does not support dimming. The output is fixed at 1,725 lumens across all three CCT settings.

Can this be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating confirms the tray is suitable for indoor dry environments only (Zone 3). It is not rated for outdoor exposure or damp locations such as bathrooms or kitchens without adequate IP-rated housing.
