Description

This pack of two LED candles has the tall, slim look of a classic dinner candle. Each one is 2.2cm across and 24.5cm tall, a narrow column cut with evenly spaced vertical ribs. It comes in a soft beige with a paraffin finish, so the surface you touch is real wax. A flame-shaped tip at the top glows whenever the candle is in use, and a band of finer ribbing at the foot sits neatly in a candleholder.

Because they run on batteries, they need no socket nearby, so they can stand wherever a candle looks right: down the middle of a dining table, at either end of a mantelpiece, in a window or on a sideboard in the living room or hallway. The beige is quiet enough to sit easily beside wood, linen and stone, and as a pair they suit the symmetry of two matching candlesticks. Each candle turns itself off after 8 hours, so one left glowing in a window will not stay lit all night. They are a natural choice for dinner parties, festive tables and long winter evenings, and for anyone who loves the look of tall candles.
