The Polaris is a 108x77cm rectangular wall mirror with a geometric faceted glass frame that creates depth through angled mirror panels arranged around the central reflective surface. Each facet catches light differently depending on viewing angle, giving the frame a three-dimensional appearance despite the 2cm overall depth.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where wall space allows a statement mirror, the Polaris works as both a functional full-length mirror when mounted vertically at appropriate height and as a horizontal feature above consoles or sideboards. The 108cm width suits walls between 120-150cm wide, while the 14.6kg weight requires secure wall fixing into masonry or timber studs rather than plasterboard alone.

The wood backing provides structural rigidity and mounting points for the hanging system, while the faceted mirror frame reflects light from different angles depending on room lighting position. The frame pattern uses straight geometric cuts rather than curves, giving the mirror a contemporary rather than classical appearance. The clear mirror glass throughout maintains colour accuracy without tints.

What wall fixing is needed for the weight?

At 14.6kg, the Polaris requires secure wall fixing into masonry using wall plugs and screws, or into timber studs behind plasterboard. Plasterboard-only fixing will not support this weight safely. Two fixing points are recommended.

Can it be mounted horizontally or vertically?

Yes. The rectangular format works both ways. Mounted vertically at 150-160cm from floor to centre, it functions as a full-length mirror. Mounted horizontally above a console or sideboard, it acts as a feature mirror.

How is the faceted frame cleaned?

The angled mirror panels in the frame collect dust in the joins between facets. Use a soft microfibre cloth to wipe the flat surfaces, and a dry brush or compressed air to clear dust from the recessed angles between panels. Standard glass cleaner can be used on the mirror surfaces.

What room size does this suit?

The 108x77cm size works in rooms with at least 3m of clear wall width, allowing breathing space either side of the mirror. Hallways narrower than 100cm may feel cramped with this width of mirror.
